salamanca oozes history. i love it. before moving to tassie it was the bit of hobart i thought i knew the best. i had been to the markets, eaten, sipped and shopped there. since moving i have only been to the markets once but i have spent much more time exploring the area and really enjoying the little things. i love the texture of the old bricks and colour of the sandstone at different times of the day. i also love the way mt wellington peeps overs the top of the buildings...like she is keeping a close eye on everything.
