st davids park

this gorgeous park is near the center of hobart. i read that it used to be a cemetery dating back to 1804. apparently in 1925 it was saved from its neglected state and transformed into a park. most of the headstones were moved to a memorial wall that still stands today although a few of the bigger/grander ones are still scattered about. i also read that king billy was buried here. poor poor billy. there is definitely more to the park than meets the eye.
