our recent string of weddings has come to an end. we've been to 3 in 4 weeks and all of them were amazing. it was so lovely to spend such special times with our buddies. congratulations to all of you!

yippee...we're home. after a week away i couldn't wait to get back to our little island home.  i had been bracing myself for wintery weather but unexpectedly it was amazing when we arrived home. a glorious autumn day. perfect for flying in the sky.

launceston snips

as i mentioned yesterday i recently spent a few days visiting the north of the state. oh how i love launceston! it's so beautiful and full of so many amazing people doing so many amazing things. i was actually up there for work but had a bit of time free to explore about and take some snaps. i was super excited to see bianca's delightful bike parked at utas. a few minutes later i spotted the lovely lady herself. it was the perfect chance to say hello! oh tasmania you are so tiny...

crazy march...

it's been 3 weeks since the big move and bb & i are loving living in our new spot. it was so great to spend some time at home over the weekend as the rest of march has been and will be really busy for both of us. i've spent some time in the north of the state and we both visited regional victoria for a wonderful wedding...but that's not the end of the travel for us.

we will be off to melbourne for two more weddings this month. that is a whole lot of love! as well as that i am staying in melbourne for a seminar which i am really looking forward to. until then my little blog will be suffering. i look forward to returning to my 'normal' routine soon...

the long weekend

a weekend spent relaxing at our new home was just what we needed. we enjoyed some beautiful skies, lovely dinners with friends with an 'old skool rap party' thrown in for good measure.

i also got a parcel delivered! one of bb & my oldest friends published a book. it's called bondi republic. ali is an amazing photographer - we are both so super proud of him. yay for following your dreams!

eating/coffee spot - shoebox cafe

shoebox cafe is a gorgeous little spot that bb & i have been frequenting of late - it's only open on weekdays but that makes for a great reason to get up early. i love all their tasty treats but their egg & bacon roll with beetroot relish is especially delightful!
