willie smith's cider

yesterday was such a great day. firstly my dear friend ali was visiting from sydney with his lovely partner alex...it was so great to see them.  ali is a brilliant photographer and was here to shoot the launch of an amazing cider being made right here in the twigs.  i was so excited to spend a glorious afternoon listening to some beautiful tunes, meeting new people and sipping this fabulous drink made of huon valley apples. what a treat!

apple valley

'moving to the country, going to eat a lot of...apples'

when we first arrived in the twigs i remember being amazed by the shear amount of apples available in the huon. i also remember the first bag of honesty apples we bought - they tasted amazing! even the ugly, dented teeny ones that would never make it onto a city supermarket shelf tasted like heaven.

once we decided to move, this song got stuck in my head. the only difference is our version has one obvious alteration - still, you get the idea.
