a year...a whole year since bb & i caught the boat on a rainy night in melbourne heading for tasmania & our new life in the twigs.
the photo above is of the beautiful callington mill in oatlands. it was the first photo i took in our new home state. bleary eyed, bb & i were driving from devonport to the glorious huon valley when we stopped for breakfast in a very frosty oatlands and headed to the companion bakery. i remember it was then that we both realised “wow, we’re here...this is exciting...and a little bit scary!”
but we need not of worried. the move to the twigs has been the best thing we’ve ever done. it is so hard to believe that it’s only been 365 tiny days since we arrived. we are so settled and so in love with our new home. we've met the most amazing people and seen and done the most amazing things. it feels like we’ve always been here.
Congratulations :-) Even with the thick mist and drizzle outside this still feels like the best move ever.
