i noticed there were no letterboxes on our road the first time we visited our house. apparently the post delivery stopped a km or two before our place. we ended up getting a po box in town - we really are in the twigs, i thought.
a few months later a stake appeared near our front gate. our neighbour told us that was where our new letterbox was to stand.
soon after that i started noticing, house-by-house new letterboxes popping up each day. some were really fancy, others not so much. it was around this time that my letterbox obsession began. here are some that have recently caught my eye.
